Returns and Cancellations Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Free Returns

We will not charge a restocking fee, or have a cost for a shipping label for your first return.

Any subsequent returns within 30 days can still be approved, but the cost of the return label will be deducted from your total refund. Costs can vary depending on your location and package size.

After 30 days, on new orders, you qualify for free returns again. Please understand that we can not take the burden of allowing an order to be exchanged multiple times when we pay for shipping to you, and to return product. If you need help selecting the right fixture the first time, we would love to help. 

To start a return, you can contact us at Hello@ShopforLights.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please take pictures of damages and the packaging. We may have to contact the carrier or the manufacturer to resolve the issue. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Installed items, or items that were damaged after delivery will not be accepted for return

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on close out and discontinued product.


Exchanges
Returns and purchases are treated as separate transactions. If you want to exchange one product for another, purchase the item you want and email or call us to set up a return. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.
